The air carries the smell of the spruce and flowers and is quiet enough to hear the sounds of the world around you. Take time to see the little things around you or lie in some warm nook and watch the clouds float over. You could feed a chipmunk or possibly encourage a chickadee to come feed from your hand. In the evening relax in front of a fireplace with hot popcorn and as the fire burns down. How about toasting a few marshmallows? Enjoy moonlight hikes or just relax and enjoy a good book.
Climb to the top of one of the hundreds of high peaks and survey a world of magnificent towering peaks, glacial cirques and wooded valleys. Fish in the crystal clear high altitude lakes and racing cold streams for the cuttthroat, brook or rainbow trout. Horseback along well kept trails on short circle trips through ponderosa and lodgepole forests to the different world above timberline where conies, ptarmigan and other wildlife are found.
